1.      Day One:  Our staff will meet you at the airport and see you to your hotel in the historic Getsemani  part of the city. Our hotel is a small and very nice colonial house with in-room bathrooms, A/C, restaurant and a swimming pool.

2.      Day Two: Chiva tour of historic sites. The Chiva is a very old and typical bus of Colombia. These buses are almost a work of art for their owners since they invest time and money decorating them and competing with other companies to have the nicest one! The tour will take you to the most remarkable places in Cartagena.

3.      Day Three: Travel to the Rosary Islands, a Natural Park surrounded by beautiful reefs. It’s a day tour that includes a visit to the aquarium and  typical cooked fish for lunch. If you let us know in advance, we will have a snorkeling guide for you so you can go to the near islands to snorkel and learn about this natural Park. If you prefer to dive, that’s also possible. Let us know when you register. Snorkeling guide and equipment (20 USD extra). Diving two immersions and equipment (35 USD extra ). Only for certified divers PADI or NAUI.

4.      Day Four:  Free day in the city. At night a colonial carriage is going to pick you up at the hotel and you will have a very nice city tour.The carriage is going to leave you at a very good restaurant where you can have a delightful dinner.

5.      Day 5:  Early in the morning we will pick you up and we will travel in a fisherman canoe to an area where we will see thousands of birds, flowers and other animals along with other natural plants tunnels along the water way.

6.      Day 6: How about climbing the highest Mud Volcano in the world and taking a mud bath inside? ( Highest is true, but it is only 30m high). If you prefer to stay in Cartagena, then you can take a salsa and merengue dancing  lesson or just have a free day. ( If you want to have  an hour of  Merengue and Salsa lessons every day that is possible for 50 USD EXTRA).

Departing day.  We will transport you to the airport . If you decide to stay longer you are certainly welcome to do so. Just let us know in advance.

Obviously, we are very flexible and there will be ample time for shopping, wandering off on your own, and just having fun.  The cost for this trip is $850 USD plus tax.  But the tax is only applicable for Texas residents.
